Welcome to Risingsuperstar.com! An online, social networking site where aspiring artists find their audience and fans pick the next musical superstar. With Free membership, we provide an outlet for artists to display their talent to the public, giving them the opportunity to listen, vote, give feedback and become a fan. After all.....Shouldn't you be heard?

That's right... Shouldn't you be heard? Risingsuperstar.com is aware that it may be difficult for many to get the exposure needed, or an appointment to stand in front of a record label.

Whether it is location, contacts, time, finances, or lack of industry knowledge that’s where we come in...You prove to us through your votes, that you want and deserve that exposure. At the end of every month, we'll send the top ten of the month to the leading record labels in the industry via digital release.

How it works.

Artist: You create profiles, uploading photos, videos, music, and a bio of yourself and your music. You'll want to impress "our" fans and and recruit "your" fans to the site to vote for you. Be sure to advertise on your Facebook and Myspace accounts. Every month you are voted to be in the top ten, your profile and music will be released to top record labels in the industry. The more months you are in the top ten, the more you will be seen by industry experts.

Fan: You create profiles too. Your Job is to vote on the best artist for the monthly competition. If you like what you hear, give them a star rating (five being the best). While you're there, be sure to give the artist some feedback. If you really like an artist... you can advertise on your Facebook and Myspace accounts for them, and help them to become the top ten.

Competition

Voting will begin on the first day of the month at 12am CST. At the end of the month, the 10 leading artist with the most votes will be released to leading record labels in the industry. (Including: Nashville, New York, California) That means you have 12 chances in a calendar year to be exposed and heard. At the end of the month, the slate is wiped clean and voting begins again for the next month. We'll also feature the Artist with the most votes of the month on the home page. WOW...that’s about 30 days of great exposure.
