The Daze is a hypnotic rock trio from Charlottetown, PEI Canada. Formed in the Fall of 2008, they're already a regular act in the local music scene who's venues include The Crazy Neighbor, Baba's Lounge and Hunter's Ale House.

By listening The Daze's you can tell they have a mixed bag of influences ranging from classic rock from the 70s, metal and punk from the 80s, and alterative / grunge from the 90s.


History
Jason and Ian played together for several years in local band Sister Satellite. After disbanding, the two were looking to form a trio to keep things simple. Jason put the word out that they were looking for a bassist. Having met and jammed with Jason several years ago through mutual friend, Andy was made aware of the bassist opening through the same mutual friend.
The Daze started to jam once a week, creating original music but also learning some cover songs to allow their catalogue to grow. This way they would be able to play the local bar scene within a couple of months.

The Daze plan to create a quality recording within the coming months. With a rapidly expanding catalogue of original content, you will soon see a more diverse track list during their live performances.
